Empowerment Evaluation in Mexico City - W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Empowerment Evaluation in Mexico City for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation's Latin American and Caribbean group conducted an empowerment evaluation exercise in Mexico City, November 12, 2013.  The group completed the 3 step process:  1) mission, 2) taking stock, and 3) planning for the future.  Drs. David Fetterman and Oscar Figueroa served as the coaches or critical friends.

We enjoyed a lighter moment during the day as you can see above.  However, we did work hard and the dialogue was intensive, engaging, and productive.

Many of our colleagues were already applying many of the same techniques and driven by the same values.  However, this provided an additional overlay that improved the systematic nature of the effort.

Members of the group raised difficult questions ranging from raising consciousness about women's rights and roles in indigenous rural communities to more effectively disseminating web-based information.

For additional information about the project contact Dr. Fetterman.
