  Remote Empowerment Evaluation Training in New Zealand Dr. Marie Nissanka from Kainga Ora Homes and Communities in New Zealand asked me to conduct an empowerment evaluation seminar for the Australian Evaluation Society. We highlighted the theory, concepts, principles, and steps of empowerment evaluation. We also demonstrated how to conduct empowerment evaluations remotely. Examples ranged from USAID funded efforts to eliminate tuberculosis in India to Feeding America's efforts to increase food security in the United States.
